Travel Desk Manager

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and organized Travel Desk Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of corporate travel for our employees. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective travel policies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring cost-efficiency while prioritizing employee comfort and safety. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and enforce corporate travel policies and procedures.
- Manage relationships with airlines, hotels, car rental agencies, and other travel service providers.
- Negotiate favorable rates and contracts with vendors to ensure cost savings.
- Oversee the booking and management of all employee travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation.
- Handle travel-related inquiries and resolve issues for employees promptly and efficiently.
- Monitor travel expenses and provide regular reports on travel expenditure and savings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant travel regulations and company policies.
- Implement and manage a travel management system (TMS) or similar platform.
- Develop and deliver travel-related training to employees as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in corporate travel management.
- Manage and mentor the travel desk team, providing guidance and support.
