Travel Desk Manager (Doctorate/PhD) | Chandigarh

We are seeking a highly educated and meticulous Travel Desk Manager to oversee all travel-related operations for our Chandigarh office. This role is ideal for an individual with a Doctorate/PhD seeking to apply their analytical and organizational skills in a dynamic contract research environment. You will be responsible for ensuring seamless and cost-effective travel arrangements for our employees, clients, and partners, while adhering to company policies and international travel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive travel policies and procedures in line with company objectives and regulatory requirements.

Manage all aspects of corporate travel, including flight bookings, hotel accommodations, visa processing, and ground transportation, for domestic and international trips.

Negotiate and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, and other service providers to secure competitive rates and favorable terms.

Oversee the travel budget, track expenses, and generate regular reports on travel expenditure and cost-saving opportunities.

Provide support and guidance to employees regarding travel arrangements, visa requirements, and travel-related queries.

Ensure compliance with all relevant travel regulations, immigration laws, and company security protocols.

Handle emergency situations and disruptions to travel plans efficiently and effectively.

Utilize travel management software and tools to optimize booking processes and data management.

Conduct research on new travel trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve travel services.
