Treasury Analyst (0-1 Yrs) | Bangalore

Role Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and analytically driven Treasury Analyst with a Doctorate/PhD to join our finance team in Bangalore. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in corporate treasury operations within a dynamic clinical research environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong academic background in a quantitative field and a keen interest in financial markets and corporate finance. You will support the treasury function in managing liquidity, financial risk, and optimizing cash flow.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in daily cash management activities, including monitoring cash balances, executing payments, and preparing cash flow forecasts.
- Support the analysis of financial risks, such as interest rate and foreign exchange exposure, and contribute to hedging strategies.
- Conduct research on market trends, economic indicators, and investment opportunities relevant to the company's treasury operations.
- Prepare reports and presentations on treasury activities, financial performance, and risk assessments for management.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FP&A) to ensure efficient treasury operations.
- Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new treasury technologies and best practices.
- Assist in managing banking relationships and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
