Role Summary:
The Treasury Head will be responsible for managing the bank's liquidity, funding, and market risk. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of financial markets, regulatory requirements, and risk management principles. The incumbent will lead the treasury function, ensuring optimal deployment of funds, efficient capital management, and compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement treasury strategies to optimize liquidity, funding, and investment portfolios.
- Manage the bank's foreign exchange exposure and hedging strategies.
- Oversee the bank's interest rate risk management framework.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to treasury operations (e.g., RBI guidelines).
- Monitor market conditions and provide insights on potential risks and opportunities.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, regulators, and rating agencies.
- Lead and mentor the treasury team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Develop and manage the treasury budget.
- Ensure efficient cash management and working capital optimization.
