We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tunnel Engineer to join our growing team. The Tunnel Engineer will be responsible for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of tunnels, particularly those related to water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role requires a deep understanding of geological conditions, excavation methods, and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and construction of tunnels for water and wastewater conveyance systems.
Conduct geological and geotechnical investigations to assess site conditions.
Develop and implement tunnel excavation and support strategies.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and environmental standards.
Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders.
Monitor tunnel construction progress and address any technical challenges.
Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
