Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tunnel Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Tunnel Engineer will be responsible for the design, construction, and maintenance of underground infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and compliance with all relevant standards. This role requires a deep understanding of geotechnical engineering, construction methodologies, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review tunnel designs, including alignment, cross-section, and support systems.
- Conduct site investigations and geotechnical surveys to assess ground conditions.
- Oversee tunnel construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges during the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including geologists, structural engineers, and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and quality standards.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and progress updates.
