Ultrasound Technologist

Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. The Ultrasound Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations on personnel to assess their health status, particularly in relation to occupational health and safety within the oil and gas industry. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging principles and their application in an industrial setting, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and accurate data collection.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct diagnostic ultrasound scans on employees as per established protocols and medical directives.
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring optimal performance and calibration.
- Interpret ultrasound images to identify abnormalities and provide preliminary findings to consulting physicians.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including scan results, patient history, and technician notes.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and occupational health standards within the workplace.
- Collaborate with occupational health physicians and other medical professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Prepare reports on ultrasound findings for medical review and record-keeping.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and diagnostic techniques.
- Assist in the development and implementation of ultrasound-based health monitoring programs.
