Role Summary: The Umpire/Referee will be responsible for overseeing and officiating various law enforcement and security training exercises, drills, and simulated scenarios. This role ensures fair play, adherence to established protocols, and accurate assessment of participant performance according to predefined rules and objectives. The Umpire/Referee will provide objective feedback and maintain the integrity of the training environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Officiate and monitor training exercises, drills, and simulations related to law enforcement and security operations.
- Ensure strict adherence to established rules, procedures, and safety protocols during all activities.
- Make impartial judgments and decisions based on the established criteria and operational context.
- Provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback to participants and instructors on performance and adherence to objectives.
- Maintain accurate records of performance, infractions, and outcomes of exercises.
- Identify potential safety hazards and ensure immediate corrective actions are taken.
- Collaborate with training staff to refine exercise scenarios and evaluation metrics.
- Uphold the integrity and fairness of all simulated operations and assessments.
