Role Summary: The Underwriter will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the risk associated with travel insurance policies and other financial products offered by MakeMyTrip. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and the ability to make informed decisions to ensure profitability and minimize financial exposure.

• Analyze and evaluate insurance applications and proposals to determine eligibility and risk.
• Calculate premiums and determine policy terms and conditions based on risk assessment.
• Develop and implement underwriting guidelines and procedures.
• Monitor and review existing policies to ensure continued adherence to underwriting standards.
• Collaborate with sales and product development teams to provide insights on risk and pricing.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities.
• Prepare reports and present findings to management.
