Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and analytical Underwriter with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Surat. The Underwriter will be responsible for assessing and managing financial risks associated with film and entertainment projects, ensuring profitability and adherence to company policies. This role requires a strong understanding of financial statements, market trends, and the unique challenges of the entertainment industry. A Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) is a mandatory educational qualification.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate financial viability of film, music, and entertainment projects through detailed analysis of budgets, revenue projections, and cash flow statements.
Assess risks and potential returns associated with various entertainment ventures, including production financing, distribution deals, and intellectual property rights.
Develop and recommend appropriate underwriting terms, conditions, and pricing strategies to mitigate identified risks.
Monitor the financial performance of funded projects and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
Collaborate with legal, finance, and production teams to structure deals and resolve underwriting issues.
Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes impacting the entertainment finance sector.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management on underwriting decisions and portfolio performance.
