Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Chief Safety Officer (CSO) to join our Guwahati office. This entry-level position is ideal for a recent Master's graduate looking to build a career in ensuring workplace safety within the dynamic accounting and auditing sector. The CSO will support the implementation and maintenance of safety protocols, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of comprehensive safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the workplace to identify potential hazards.
- Investigate safety incidents and near misses, preparing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain safety records and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Organize and deliver safety training sessions to employees.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety legislation and advise management on necessary actions.
- Support emergency preparedness and response planning.
- Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
