We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Company Secretary / Compliance Officer with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Nasik. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining statutory records, and supporting corporate governance functions. This role requires a strong understanding of company law, compliance procedures, and excellent organizational skills, particularly for a professional with an MCA background looking to apply their analytical and technical aptitude in a corporate governance setting within the agriculture sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company laws, SEBI regulations, and other statutory provisions.
- Maintain statutory registers and records, including minutes of board and committee meetings.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of annual returns, financial statements, and other regulatory documents.
- Support the board of directors and committees in corporate governance matters.
- Manage and oversee the company's compliance framework and policies.
- Conduct internal audits and reviews to ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, auditors, and legal counsel.
- Utilize MCA (Master of Computer Applications) knowledge for data analysis, process automation, and efficient record-keeping related to compliance.
- Stay updated with amendments in laws and regulations affecting the company.
