Job Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Costume Designer with 3-4 years of experience to join our team in Vishakhapatnam. This role is ideal for an M.Com graduate with a passion for design and an understanding of project management principles. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and overseeing the creation of costumes for various internal and external communications, training materials, and corporate events within the power industry. Your financial acumen from your M.Com background will be valuable in managing budgets and resources for costume production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design costumes aligned with brand identity and project requirements for corporate communications, marketing materials, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop detailed costume sketches, mood boards, and material specifications.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, branding, and production, to ensure cohesive visual representation.
- Manage costume production, including sourcing fabrics, coordinating with tailors and vendors, and overseeing fitting sessions.
- Ensure costumes are practical, safe, and meet the specific needs of each project, considering the operational environment of the power industry.
- Manage costume budgets effectively, track expenses, and ensure cost-efficiency, leveraging M.Com principles.
- Maintain an organized inventory of costumes and related accessories.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in costume design and fashion relevant to corporate branding and communication.
