Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data / Big Data Testing Engineer with 0-2 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a foundational understanding of data testing principles. This role is crucial for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data pipelines and big data solutions within the engineering and construction domain.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test cases for data quality, data validation, and data integrity across various data sources and big data platforms.
Perform functional and non-functional testing of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.
Identify, document, and track defects and bugs using defect tracking tools.
Collaborate with data engineers, developers, and business analysts to understand data requirements and testing needs.
Assist in the design and implementation of automated testing scripts for data validation.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Understand basic SQL queries for data retrieval and validation.
