Urgent opening for Dock Master (2-3 Yrs)

We are seeking a meticulous and design-oriented Dock Master with 2-3 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The Dock Master will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating operations within port or dock facilities, ensuring efficient movement of vessels and cargo, and maintaining safety standards. This role requires a creative approach to problem-solving and a strong understanding of spatial design and operational flow, leveraging a B.Des background.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate vessel berthing and unberthing schedules, ensuring optimal utilization of dock space.

Oversee cargo handling operations, ensuring safety protocols and efficiency are maintained.

Implement and enforce safety regulations and procedures within the dock area.

Liaise with port authorities, shipping agents, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.

Develop and maintain operational layouts and flow diagrams, applying design principles to optimize space and movement.

Monitor and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Respond to and manage emergency situations as per established protocols.
