Role Summary: We are seeking a passionate and innovative Drama / Theater Teacher with 1-3 years of experience to join our esteemed institution in Guwahati. The ideal candidate will possess a Master's degree in Design (M.Des) and a strong understanding of theatrical pedagogy. You will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging drama and theater programs for students, fostering creativity, performance skills, and a deep appreciation for the performing arts.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement comprehensive drama and theater curriculum aligned with educational objectives and industry best practices.
Conduct engaging and interactive classes, workshops, and rehearsals for students of various age groups and skill levels.
Guide students in acting techniques, improvisation, script analysis, stagecraft, and directing.
Organize and direct student theater productions, including auditions, rehearsals, set design, costume coordination, and final performances.
Provide constructive feedback and mentorship to students, fostering their artistic growth and confidence.
Evaluate student progress through performance assessments, written assignments, and participation.
Collaborate with faculty and administration to enhance the overall educational experience.
Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in drama, theater, and arts education.
