Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Environmental Consultant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Design (B.Des) with a strong understanding of environmental principles and their application in the pulp and paper industry. This role is crucial for ensuring our operations comply with environmental regulations and for driving sustainable practices within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation strategies for new and existing projects within the pulp and paper manufacturing process.
Monitor and analyze environmental performance data, including air emissions, water discharge, and waste generation, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Develop and implement environmental management plans, policies, and procedures.
Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all environmental permits and licenses are up-to-date.
Advise on sustainable design and material choices relevant to paper production, leveraging B.Des background.
Prepare technical reports, presentations, and environmental audit findings.
Conduct environmental training for employees.
