Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual with an M.Pharma background to join our team in Thiruvananthapuram as a Food & Beverage Management Trainee. This role is ideal for a recent graduate looking to gain experience in managing food and beverage operations within a dynamic corporate environment. The candidate will support the F&B Manager in daily operations, inventory management, quality control, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, leveraging their analytical skills gained from pharmaceutical studies.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing daily food and beverage operations, including procurement, storage, preparation, and service.
Monitor inventory levels, track stock movement, and assist in placing orders to ensure adequate supply and minimize wastage.
Ensure adherence to strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards as per regulatory guidelines, applying principles of quality control learned during M.Pharma.
Conduct quality checks on incoming food supplies and prepared meals to maintain high standards.
Assist in managing vendor relationships and evaluating new suppliers.
Support in managing budgets and controlling costs within the F&B department.
Contribute to the development and implementation of new F&B strategies and promotions.
Maintain accurate records and generate reports on F&B operations, inventory, and sales.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
