We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Hardware Platform Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Chandigarh. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our IT hardware infrastructure, supporting our critical BPO operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of hardware systems and a business acumen to manage resources effectively. This position is ideal for individuals with a BBA/BBM background looking to apply their analytical and management skills in a technical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain all IT hardware platforms, including servers, workstations, networking devices, and peripherals, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand hardware requirements for new projects and system upgrades.

Develop and implement hardware procurement strategies, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate contracts to ensure cost-effectiveness.

Troubleshoot hardware issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Assist in the planning and execution of hardware lifecycle management, including deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning.

Contribute to the development and maintenance of hardware documentation, inventory, and asset management systems.

Ensure compliance with company IT policies, security standards, and relevant regulations.
