Role Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanic with 1-2 years of experience to join our operations team in Vijayawada. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning and maintenance of our logistics equipment and fleet, supporting our import and export operations. The ideal candidate will possess a BBA/BBM degree, bringing a unique blend of technical understanding and business acumen to optimize maintenance schedules and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of logistics vehicles and equipment (e.g., forklifts, trucks, warehouse machinery).
Diagnose mechanical issues and determine appropriate solutions, ensuring minimal downtime.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, including parts used and labor hours.
Assist in managing inventory of spare parts and consumables, ensuring availability for timely repairs.
Adhere to safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance operations.
Collaborate with logistics and operations teams to schedule maintenance and address equipment-related issues.
Utilize knowledge gained from BBA/BBM to contribute to process improvements in maintenance and inventory management.
