Key Responsibilities:

• Reviewing patient charts and medical records to assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant coding guidelines and regulations.
• Generating and submitting medical claims to insurance companies.
• Following up on denied or rejected claims and initiating appeals.
• Verifying patient insurance information and eligibility.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient billing records.
• Communicating with healthcare providers and insurance payers to resolve billing issues.
• Assisting with audits and quality reviews of coding and billing processes.
