Urgent opening for Neonatologist (0-2 Yrs)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neonatologist with 0-2 years of experience and an M.A. degree to join our healthcare team in Kochi. This role is crucial in providing specialized medical care to newborn infants affected by illness, birth defects, and prematurity. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our youngest patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of neonatal conditions, including prematurity, low birth weight, infections, congenital anomalies, and respiratory distress.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for neonates, coordinating care with pediatricians, nurses, and other specialists.
- Perform diagnostic procedures such as lumbar punctures, blood gas analysis, and interpret imaging studies (X-rays, ultrasounds).
- Manage critically ill newborns requiring intensive care, including mechanical ventilation and other life support measures.
- Provide guidance and support to parents and families regarding their baby's condition, treatment, and ongoing care needs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to all hospital policies and procedures.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements and best practices in neonatology through continuous medical education and research.
- Participate in departmental meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
