Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and motivated Power Plant Technician with 2-4 years of experience to join our facilities management team in Thane. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our power generation equipment and systems. This role requires a hands-on approach and a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems within a commercial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor power plant equipment, including generators, UPS systems, and switchgear, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on all power generation and distribution systems as per schedule.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in power systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure safety compliance and identify potential hazards.
Maintain accurate logs and records of all maintenance activities, operational data, and repair work.
Respond promptly to power outages or system malfunctions, working to restore power with minimal disruption.
Assist in the installation and commissioning of new power equipment as required.
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
