Role Summary:
HDFC Bank is seeking a diligent and experienced Private Attorney/Lawyer to join our legal team in Vijayawada. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience and a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree, with a strong understanding of banking laws and regulations. You will be responsible for providing legal counsel, ensuring compliance, and managing legal affairs related to the bank's operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and draft legal documents, contracts, and agreements pertinent to banking operations.
- Provide legal advice and interpretation on various banking laws, regulations, and policies.
- Conduct legal research and prepare opinions on complex legal issues.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, arbitrations, and negotiations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including RBI guidelines.
- Liaise with external legal counsels and government agencies.
- Manage litigation and dispute resolution effectively.
- Advise on risk management and mitigation strategies.
