Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Private Attorney / Lawyer to join our legal team in Guwahati. This role is crucial for providing expert legal counsel and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations for our internet-focused operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of corporate law, intellectual property, and contract management, with a proven track record of handling complex legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and negotiate various legal agreements, including service agreements, vendor contracts, and NDAs, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
Provide legal advice and support on corporate governance matters, regulatory compliance, and intellectual property protection.
Conduct legal research and analysis on emerging legal issues relevant to the internet industry and provide strategic recommendations.
Assist in managing litigation and dispute resolution processes, working closely with external counsel when necessary.
Ensure compliance with data privacy laws and regulations.
Support the legal department in day-to-day legal operations.
