Role Summary:
Pratham Education Foundation is seeking a Junior Sound Mixer to assist in the production of educational content and outreach materials. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for audio and a desire to contribute to social impact initiatives. You will work closely with our content production team to ensure high-quality audio recordings for various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior sound engineers in setting up and operating audio equipment for recordings (interviews, workshops, events).
- Monitor audio quality during recordings and make minor adjustments as needed.
- Record clear and intelligible dialogue and ambient sounds.
- Help manage and organize audio equipment and cables.
- Perform basic audio editing and cleanup tasks under supervision.
- Learn and adhere to Pratham's technical standards and best practices for audio production.
- Collaborate with the content team to understand audio requirements for different projects.
- Maintain a clean and organized recording environment.
