We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sustainability Manager to join our team in Vijayawada. This role is crucial in driving our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives within the Indian operations. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree (M.Tech) in a relevant field and 2-4 years of experience in sustainability, environmental management, or a related domain, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with company goals and global best practices.
Monitor and report on key sustainability metrics, including carbon footprint, waste management, water usage, and social impact.
Conduct environmental impact assessments and identify areas for improvement.
Engage with stakeholders, including employees, regulatory bodies, and local communities, on sustainability matters.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.
Support the development of sustainability-related training programs.
