We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Tool Room Engineer with 2-4 years of experience to join our innovative team in Surat. The ideal candidate will possess a Master of Design (M.Des) degree and have a strong understanding of design principles, material science, and manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of specialized tools and equipment used in our educational product development and prototyping processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with product development teams to understand tooling requirements for new educational products and prototypes.
Design and develop precise tooling, jigs, fixtures, and molds using CAD software.
Oversee the fabrication and assembly of tools, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of existing tooling to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Conduct material selection for tooling based on functional requirements and manufacturing processes.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in tooling technology and manufacturing techniques.
Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the tool room.
