Role Summary:
Doctors For You seeks a dedicated and compassionate Urologist with 3-4 years of experience to join our healthcare team in Delhi. The ideal candidate will leverage their specialized medical knowledge and a unique background with an LLM to contribute to our mission of providing accessible urological care to vulnerable populations. This role involves a blend of clinical practice, community outreach, and potentially contributing to policy-related aspects of healthcare delivery within the NGO sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive urological examinations, diagnose, and treat a wide range of urological conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney stones, prostate issues, and uro-oncology.
- Perform diagnostic procedures and interpret results, such as ultrasounds, cystoscopies, and urodynamics.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medical management and surgical interventions where necessary, adhering to best practices and ethical standards.
- Educate patients and their families about urological health, disease prevention, and treatment options in an understandable manner.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within the organization and partner facilities to ensure holistic patient care.
- Participate in community health camps and outreach programs to raise awareness and provide basic urological screenings.
- Assist in the development and review of healthcare protocols and guidelines, drawing upon legal and ethical understanding from LLM studies.
- Contribute to reporting and data collection for program evaluation and grant applications.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in urology and healthcare policy.
