User Researcher

Role Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced User Researcher to join our growing team within the Oil & Gas sector in India. The User Researcher will be responsible for understanding the needs, behaviors, and motivations of our users (employees, partners, and potentially customers) to inform the design and development of our digital products and services. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring our technology solutions are user-centric and effectively address the challenges faced in the complex O&G environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and conduct user research studies using a variety of qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, surveys, usability testing, contextual inquiry, and diary studies.

Define research objectives, create research plans, and develop research protocols.

Recruit participants for research studies, ensuring representation of target user groups.

Analyze research data to identify key insights, patterns, and user needs.

Synthesize research findings into actionable recommendations and present them to stakeholders, product managers, designers, and engineers.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate user insights into product requirements and design decisions.

Advocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle.

Stay up-to-date with the latest user research methodologies and best practices.
