Job Description
We are seeking a talented and innovative UX Design Manager with 2-4 years of experience and a strong understanding of human-computer interaction principles, ideally with a background in LLM (Large Language Models) or related fields. In this role, you will lead the design and development of intuitive and user-centric digital experiences for our biotechnology products and internal platforms. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to translate complex scientific and business requirements into seamless user interfaces and workflows. Your LLM expertise will be crucial in exploring novel ways to enhance user interaction and data interpretation within our scientific applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end UX design process, from user research and concept development to wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity visual design.
- Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.
- Develop user personas, journey maps, and information architecture to understand and define user needs.
- Create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications, considering accessibility standards.
- Leverage your LLM knowledge to design and implement intelligent user interfaces, conversational agents, or data visualization tools within our biotech context.
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into design solutions.
- Work closely with engineers to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a collaborative and innovative design environment.
- Stay abreast of the latest UX trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly those related to AI and LLMs in product design.
