UX Writer

Role Summary:
HDFC ERGO is seeking a talented and experienced UX Writer to join our growing digital product team. You will be responsible for crafting clear, concise, and user-centered copy for our digital platforms, including our website, mobile app, and other customer-facing interfaces. Your words will directly impact the user experience, guiding customers through complex insurance processes and ensuring they have a positive and intuitive interaction with our brand.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a consistent voice and tone across all digital touchpoints, aligning with HDFC ERGO's brand guidelines.
- Write, edit, and test microcopy, error messages, button labels, tooltips, and other UI text to improve usability and clarity.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, researchers, and engineers to understand user needs and business goals.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback on copy and iterate on content.
- Create and manage a content style guide and terminology database for UX writing.
- Advocate for the user by ensuring all copy is accessible, inclusive, and easy to understand.
- Contribute to the overall product strategy by providing insights on how content can enhance the user journey.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in UX writing and content design.
