Job Description

Role Summary:
HUL is seeking a diligent and analytical Valuation Risk Analyst to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and mitigating valuation risks associated with financial instruments, assets, and liabilities across the company's diverse business segments. This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting and supporting strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement methodologies for identifying, measuring, and monitoring valuation risks.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of market data, economic factors, and internal models to assess potential valuation discrepancies.
- Evaluate the valuation of financial instruments, including derivatives, investments, and debt, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business units to understand their valuation needs and provide expert advice on risk mitigation strategies.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on valuation risk exposures, findings, and recommendations for senior management.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in valuation and risk management.
- Support internal and external audits related to valuation processes and controls.
- Design and maintain valuation models, stress testing scenarios, and sensitivity analyses.
