Valuation Risk - Emerging Technologies (1-3 Yrs Exp)

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly analytical and motivated individual with a Doctorate/PhD in a quantitative field to join our Valuation Risk team in Pune. This role will focus on assessing and mitigating valuation risks associated with emerging technologies within the financial services sector. You will work on complex valuation models, conduct independent research, and contribute to the firm's risk management framework.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and refine quantitative models to assess valuation risks of financial instruments and portfolios, particularly those involving emerging technologies (e.g., AI, blockchain, fintech).
- Conduct independent research on market trends, valuation methodologies, and regulatory developments impacting emerging technologies.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify potential valuation discrepancies and risk factors.
- Perform stress testing and scenario analysis on valuation models to understand their resilience under various market conditions.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, outlining findings, recommendations, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quants, risk managers, and business analysts, to ensure robust risk management practices.
- Stay abreast of academic research and industry best practices in quantitative finance and risk management.
