Vascular Surgeon

Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Surgeon to join our occupational health team. The role will focus on providing specialized medical care and advisory services to our employees, particularly concerning vascular health issues that may arise from occupational exposures or lifestyle factors prevalent within the corporate environment. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being and productivity of our workforce in the beverage industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive medical assessments of employees, with a specific focus on vascular health.

Diagnose and manage a wide range of vascular conditions, including peripheral artery disease, deep vein thrombosis, varicose veins, and aneurysms.

Provide consultative services to employees regarding vascular health risks, preventative measures, and lifestyle modifications relevant to the beverage industry (e.g., effects of alcohol consumption, sedentary work).

Interpret diagnostic tests such as Doppler ultrasounds, angiograms, and other relevant imaging studies.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, cardiologists, and general surgeons, to ensure holistic patient care.

Develop and implement treatment plans, including medical management and, where appropriate, surgical interventions or referrals for surgical procedures.

Educate employees on vascular health awareness, risk factor management, and post-treatment care.

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with medical and company policies.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in vascular surgery and occupational health.
