Vendor Management Lead

Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vendor Management Lead to join our dynamic team in India. This role will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing relationships with key vendors across various business functions, ensuring alignment with company objectives, cost-effectiveness, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the FinTech/Payments landscape and a proven track record in managing complex vendor portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement comprehensive vendor management strategies to support business goals.
* Identify, onboard, and manage a diverse portfolio of vendors, including technology providers, service partners, and consultants.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to ensure cost optimization and favorable agreements.
* Monitor vendor performance against established SLAs, KPIs, and quality standards, conducting regular performance reviews.
* Proactively identify and mitigate vendor-related risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
* Foster strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within vendor relationships and processes.
* Manage vendor disputes and escalations effectively, seeking timely and satisfactory resolutions.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in vendor management and the FinTech sector.
* Develop and maintain a centralized vendor database and contract management system.
