Vendor Relations Manager

Role Summary: The Vendor Relations Manager will be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with all vendors and suppliers for IHCL's extensive network of hotels and restaurants across India. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain, cost optimization, and adherence to quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive vendor management strategy aligned with IHCL's business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new vendors, ensuring they meet IHCL's stringent quality, ethical, and financial standards.
- Negotiate contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and pricing with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.
- Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon KPIs and SLAs, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Resolve disputes and address any issues or concerns raised by vendors or internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and payment histories.
- Collaborate with internal departments (Procurement, Operations, Finance) to ensure vendor activities align with business needs.
- Stay abreast of market trends, industry best practices, and regulatory changes affecting vendor relations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the vendor management process.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical guidelines in vendor interactions.
