Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vendor Relations Manager to join our Food Processing division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our diverse network of suppliers and vendors, ensuring the consistent supply of high-quality raw materials and ingredients. This role is crucial for optimizing our supply chain, managing costs, and upholding ITC's commitment to quality and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies for vendor selection, onboarding, and performance management.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings and favorable agreements.
Monitor vendor performance against agreed-upon KPIs, including quality, delivery timelines, and compliance.
Foster strong, collaborative relationships with key vendors to ensure supply chain resilience and innovation.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including single-sourcing issues and geopolitical factors.
Collaborate with internal teams (Procurement, Quality Assurance, Production) to align vendor strategies with business objectives.
Ensure vendor compliance with all relevant regulations, quality standards, and ethical sourcing policies.
Manage vendor disputes and work towards amicable resolutions.
Stay abreast of market trends, new technologies, and best practices in vendor management and the food processing industry.
