Role Summary: We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Vendor Relations Manager with a Doctorate/PhD to join our growing team in Thiruvananthapuram. You will leverage your advanced research and analytical skills to optimize vendor performance, ensure supply chain resilience, and drive innovation. This position is ideal for an individual with 4-6 years of experience who possesses a deep understanding of supply chain dynamics and a passion for the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive vendor management strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify potential new vendors and assess existing ones.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Monitor vendor performance against established KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary.
• Foster strong, long-term relationships with vendors through regular communication and collaboration.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization within the vendor network.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards in the food processing industry.
• Utilize advanced analytical techniques to forecast demand, manage inventory, and mitigate supply chain risks.
