Vendor Relations - ONGC (Noida) - 1-2 Yrs

Role Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Vendor Relations professional with 1-2 years of experience to join our team at ONGC in Noida. This role is crucial for managing and optimizing relationships with our diverse vendor base, ensuring smooth procurement processes, and fostering strong partnerships. The ideal candidate will possess a postgraduate degree and a foundational understanding of vendor management principles within the oil and gas sector.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the onboarding and registration of new vendors, ensuring all documentation is complete and compliant with company policies.
- Monitor vendor performance against contractual obligations and established KPIs, identifying areas for improvement.
- Facilitate communication between ONGC departments and vendors to resolve issues, answer queries, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and databases, including contact information, contract details, and performance history.
- Support the procurement team in contract negotiation and renewal processes.
- Conduct preliminary analysis of vendor proposals and bids.
- Track and manage vendor payments and invoices, coordinating with the finance department.
- Ensure adherence to ethical practices and company code of conduct in all vendor interactions.
- Participate in vendor evaluation meetings and provide input on vendor selection.
