Role Summary: We are seeking a strategic and analytical Venture Capital Investor to identify, evaluate, and invest in promising startups and innovative ventures within the aviation industry in India. This role will be instrumental in driving the future growth and technological advancement of the aviation ecosystem through strategic investments and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough market research and due diligence on potential investment opportunities in the aviation sector, including but not limited to aerospace manufacturing, air traffic management, sustainable aviation fuels, drone technology, and airport infrastructure.
- Analyze financial statements, business models, and competitive landscapes of target companies.
- Develop and present investment theses and recommendations to the investment committee.
- Negotiate deal terms, including valuation, equity, and governance structures.
- Manage a portfolio of existing investments, providing strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with entrepreneurs, industry experts, and co-investors within the Indian aviation ecosystem.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes impacting the aviation sector.
- Prepare regular reports on portfolio performance and market insights.
