Job Description
Role Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative VFX Editor to join our team. The VFX Editor will be responsible for assembling and editing visual effects shots, ensuring seamless integration with live-action footage, and maintaining the artistic and technical integrity of the final product. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong storytelling abilities, and proficiency in various editing and compositing software.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble and edit raw VFX footage, ensuring continuity and pacing.
Collaborate with VFX Supervisors and artists to understand project requirements and creative vision.
Perform basic compositing tasks to integrate VFX elements.
Ensure accurate color grading and matching between VFX shots and live-action plates.
Manage and organize VFX assets and project files efficiently.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that arise during the editing process.
Deliver final edited sequences within project deadlines.
