Video Analyst

Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Video Analyst with a Master's degree in Design (M.Des) to join our innovative team in Nagpur. In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing video data from railway operations to identify patterns, anomalies, and areas for improvement. You will leverage your design thinking and analytical skills to translate complex visual information into actionable insights that enhance safety, efficiency, and operational performance within the Indian Railways. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze video feeds from various railway systems (e.g., CCTV, track monitoring, onboard cameras) to identify safety hazards, operational inefficiencies, and security breaches.
- Develop and implement methodologies for categorizing and tagging video events based on predefined criteria.
- Utilize design principles and user-centered approaches to create intuitive dashboards and reports that visualize key findings and trends.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to understand data requirements and translate them into analytical frameworks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and system enhancements based on video analysis insights.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of video data, documenting observations and recommendations.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and analytical techniques in video processing and artificial intelligence.
- Contribute to the development of best practices for video data management and analysis within the organization.
- Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to stakeholders at various levels.
