Visa / Immigration Consultant

Role Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Visa / Immigration Consultant to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of visa and immigration processes for our international employees and prospective hires, ensuring compliance with Indian immigration laws and regulations. This role is crucial in facilitating the smooth onboarding and continued employment of our global talent pool within Lambda Therapeutic Research.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage the end-to-end visa application and renewal process for foreign nationals employed by the company, including work permits, dependent visas, and other relevant immigration documents.
2. Provide expert advice and guidance to employees and HR on immigration policies, procedures, and compliance requirements in India.
3. Liaise with government authorities, embassies, consulates, and external immigration service providers to facilitate visa processing and resolve any issues.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all visa and immigration-related documentation and employee information.
5. Stay abreast of changes in Indian immigration laws and regulations and update internal policies and procedures accordingly.
6. Assist with the preparation of immigration-related documentation for audits and compliance checks.
7. Support HR in developing and implementing immigration-related policies and best practices.
