Role Summary: This volunteer position is for a highly motivated individual with a Doctorate/PhD and 3-5 years of experience, seeking to contribute to significant projects within the Ports & Shipping sector. The role offers an opportunity to leverage advanced research and analytical skills to support strategic initiatives and operational improvements at APSEZ's Guwahati operations. This is an unpaid, volunteer position.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements impacting the Ports & Shipping industry in India.
Assist in the development and implementation of innovative strategies for port operations, supply chain efficiency, and sustainable maritime practices.
Contribute to data-driven decision-making by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex datasets related to port performance, cargo movement, and logistics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify challenges, propose solutions, and support the successful execution of projects.
Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and technical documentation to communicate research findings and project outcomes to stakeholders.
Engage in knowledge sharing and contribute to the development of best practices within the organization.
