Warehouse Manager

Role Summary:
ONGC is seeking an experienced and highly organized Warehouse Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our oil and gas warehouse operations in India. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for ensuring efficient inventory management, maintaining safety standards, optimizing storage, and coordinating the receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment critical to our exploration and production activities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient warehouse management procedures and policies.
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of all incoming materials, equipment, and chemicals.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies within the warehouse.
- Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring productivity and adherence to procedures.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for efficient operations.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and operational teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
- Implement security measures to prevent loss or damage to inventory.
- Manage the dispatch of materials and equipment, ensuring correct documentation and tracking.
- Monitor and control warehouse operating costs, identifying areas for improvement and cost savings.
- Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, warehouse performance, and operational efficiency.
