Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our facilities maintenance team. The Welder will be responsible for performing various welding tasks to ensure the structural integrity and safety of our company's infrastructure and equipment. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Select appropriate welding equipment and techniques based on the materials and project requirements.
- Perform welding operations using various methods such as SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW.
- Join, fabricate, and repair metal and other materials using welding equipment.
- Inspect welds for quality, integrity, and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain and clean welding equipment and work area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Troubleshoot and repair faulty welding equipment.
