Welder (B.Pharma Required) - Chandigarh

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Welder with a B.Pharma background to join our team in Chandigarh. This role is crucial for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of our facilities, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of the bank. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of technical welding skills and a strong understanding of pharmaceutical principles, which will be applied in specialized maintenance and construction tasks within our corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform various welding tasks (e.g., TIG, MIG, Stick) on metal structures and equipment within the bank's premises, adhering to safety protocols.

Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute welding projects.

Ensure all welding operations comply with relevant industry standards and health regulations, leveraging knowledge from B.Pharma education for sterile or sensitive area considerations.

Conduct pre-welding inspections of materials and prepare surfaces for welding.

Maintain and repair welding equipment and tools.

Collaborate with facilities management and other departments to understand project requirements and timelines.

Apply principles of material science and chemistry (learned during B.Pharma) to select appropriate welding materials and techniques for different applications, especially where sensitive equipment or materials are present.

Document work performed, including materials used and any challenges encountered.
