Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Welding Inspector / Supervisor to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of all welding operations within our state-of-the-art facilities, contributing to the production of high-quality jewellery and components. This role requires a deep understanding of welding processes, codes, and standards, along with strong leadership and supervisory skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inspect and approve incoming materials for welding.
2. Monitor and supervise all welding activities on the shop floor.
3. Ensure compliance with relevant welding codes, standards (e.g., AWS, ASME), and company specifications.
4. Perform visual inspections, non-destructive testing (NDT) such as Dye Penetrant Testing (DPT), Magnetic Particle Testing (MPT), and ultrasonic testing (UT) as required.
5. Review and approve welding procedures and welder qualifications.
6. Maintain detailed inspection records and prepare reports.
7. Identify and address any welding defects or non-conformities.
8. Provide guidance and training to welders and fabrication staff.
9. Ensure a safe working environment in the welding area.
