Welding Inspector / Supervisor (Contractual) | Mumbai

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Welding Inspector / Supervisor with 1-2 years of experience to oversee welding operations and ensure adherence to quality standards. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and safety of our infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of welding processes and inspection techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform visual inspections of welds to identify defects such as porosity, cracks, and undercut.

Ensure compliance with relevant welding codes, standards (e.g., AWS, ASME), and project specifications.

Supervise a team of welders, providing guidance and ensuring efficient workflow.

Conduct NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) inspections as required, or liaise with NDT personnel.

Review welding procedures and qualifications to ensure they meet project requirements.

Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions.

Identify and report any safety violations or non-conformance issues on site.

Assist in the development and implementation of quality control plans for welding.
